I. Personal Data

We collect, process, and use your personal data only with your consent for the purposes agreed upon with you, in compliance with data protection and civil law regulations.

Only such personal data is collected which is necessary for the execution and processing of our business transactions with you, for the fulfillment of the contract, or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, as well as for warranty services and repairs. Without this data, we cannot conclude or execute a contract with you.

Personal data includes all data that contains individual information about personal or factual circumstances, such as name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, age, gender, bank details, order data, customer service inquiries, product registrations.

For businesses, company name, commercial register number, VAT identification number (UID), contact person, business address, contact details (telephone number, fax number, email address, etc.) are among the processed data.

II. Use of the Data

We do not use the data provided to us for purposes other than those covered by our business relationship.

Due to the data voluntarily provided by you, we process it based on your consent solely for the following purposes:

  • ensuring the best possible customer and supplier care
  • for our own advertising purposes, for example, sending offers, advertising brochures, and newsletters (in paper and electronic form)
  • as well as for the purpose of indicating the existing or former business relationship with the customer (reference note)
  • To comply with the applicable laws in Austria and in the European Union

III. Transmission of data to third parties

Within the framework of the processing operations, we transmit data to the following recipient categories, whereby the recipients are acting on our behalf or the transmission is necessary to fulfill contractual or legal obligations:

  • Third parties involved in the business transaction, private and public entities that may disclose or require information related to the subject of the contract, banks (in the context of assignment agreements, factoring), credit insurance companies, tax authorities, and other authorities, tax consultants, and legal representatives (in enforcing rights or defending against claims or in the context of administrative proceedings).
  • Companies commissioned to support our internal IT infrastructure (software, hardware)
  • Potentially commissioned professionals/service providers/couriers

All processors have been carefully selected and ensure, through appropriate technical and organizational measures, that your data is processed in accordance with data protection legal obligations and that your rights are protected. In particular, processors are not allowed to use your personal data for their own purposes.

Some of the above-mentioned recipients of your personal data may process your personal data outside of Austria.

The level of data protection in other countries may not be equivalent to that of Austria. We take measures to ensure that third parties receiving personal data from us only transfer it to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection and require all recipients to have an adequate level of data protection.

We do not retain data longer than necessary to fulfill our contractual or legal obligations (taxes, customs, etc.) and to defend against any liability claims.

We will report data breaches to you or the relevant supervisory authority as soon as we become aware of them.

As our business partner or as an affected person, you have the right to information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient, the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to correction, data transfer, objection, restriction of processing, as well as blocking or deletion of incorrect or unlawfully processed data.

You have the right to revoke any consent given for the use of your personal data at any time.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data by us violates data protection laws or your data protection rights have been violated, you have the option to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the competent authority for this purpose is the Austrian Data Protection Authority, located at Wickenburggasse 8, 1080 Vienna.

VII. Storage Period (Deletion Deadlines)

We will not keep data longer than necessary to fulfill our contractual or legal obligations and to defend against any warranty or compensation claims.
